The semi-abstract nature, where you put the sharpest focus and the lush green with pools of bright skylight. Great shot. The first of Wk 18 does not quite hold me. The second (bw) wk 18 is a lovely subtle study. You have chosen to put the focus on the foliage closer than the gate? I might have expected the gate to be the sharpest, but then maybe it would be helped by a little texture (not completely black)? I'll be really interested to read any other opinions on that one.
