Besides the preparation and effort which flows into creating one strong photograph; also consider the years of learning, practice, testing, and experience which charges that 1/10th of a second slice of time with energy (or not). The half year it took you to write the book is nothing compared to the decades you put into preparing to write the book. The same could be said of Marc's book.
