Subject: [Leica] pushing the envelope question

I had to try and photograph number 2 daughter from our house.
With the naked eye the little beach is just visible but people are not.
Mounted the 560/1:6.8 Telyt on the Canon using one of mr.Gandies adapter
rings.
Handheld at ISO 1600 through thick double paned glass.
While it was a suprise to be able to recognise my daughter in the
picture, the lack of detail I did not understand.
The markIII not being a full frame sensor makes the telyt magnify like a 730
would on 35mm.

Would that combination be refraction limited at the aperture used of F11.0
?

Had no time to try something else like no glass in between etc.because I,m
studying hard for a new aircraft type
an Airbus! After flying 74's since 88 and past my retirement have steam
coming out of my ears.
Will experiment later with a 50 summicron R and the 400 telyt which I'm fond
of.
The upload is a full size jpeg at low quality. The save quality made no
difference in resolution.
Best,Simon Jessurun,Amsterdam
