Hi Simon. I know that you prefer not to manipulate the sharpness and
saturation in the eyes, although I meant a subtle change. That's fine, it's
a wonderful shot. I had a play here duplicating your BW crop in the colour
version. I urge you to look at that colour shot cropped like the BW before
you print. Since you've just loaded a gif for that one, I can't readily send
you an example. Anyway, you get all of the pleasing drama of the crop and
even better those knockout eyes look fantastic as the main colour element.
Hanging in a gallery now, I'd buy that one over the BW! Her mum is sure to
be even more impressed.
Don't forget to show us more stuff as you shoot it.
