Hola amigo,

I think you are right, but one of the things I've saw with your scanns, much
better than mines, is that they don't reach the quality of the projected
image, on the other hand for B&W I'm very happy with my flatbed, and the
Nikon/Minolta don't give the same smooth tones. Maybe the Epson V750 will
reach both needs, even so I've seen some slide tests with it and they are
inferior to the Nikon.

Thanks for your advice

Salud!
Luis

Hola Luis. You and I have compared scans from your slides before. With a
good film scanner you should be getting plenty of detail and tonal range
from scans of good film like that. Although it is not the same as
projection, on a good computer screen it should look very bright and sharp.
You should not be disappointed. Printed large they should still look really
good. For me, well exposed slide film was always much easier to scan than
any negative film. I mean especially getting the colour right and the
fineness of the grain. The Fuji professional slide films are very dense and
adjusting scanning technique helps a lot. Most importantly, a good film
scanner like the Nikons or Minoltas will do a much better job than any
flatbed scanner. Faster, sharper, bigger range of tones and colours and
especially more detail in the shadows.

Cheers
Geoff

Hi Len,

Yes, it looks better on the monitor, but projected is much more nice, more
natural and saturated colors.

Thanks again for looking and commenting

Saludos cordiales
Luis

Hi Luis,

Yes this photo is better and natural. I think because it doesn't have the
over saturated reds and greens that Velvia gives.

Best Regards,
Len
