After 5 years of watching the submitted and edited photographs grow, plus
your years putting it , then trying to sell the concept to the publishing
world, not to forget Leica. What's the point of waiting to have a copy in
hand! 

Everyone who knows they have pictures or a picture in the book should order
immediately! Why wait?

And everyone who wasn't around as part of the crew January 1 2000 when it
started should order one immediately to see what we as a crew under the
guidance of our staunch and demanding Captain Alastair, shot in almost every
out post of this crazy world during the following 5 years.

To those who were not part of the 5 shooting years, you are going to be
completely blown away with the high quality and beauty of the photography in
this book! Don't get the idea it's just a bunch of PAW's, sure some are, but
this photography is all classic work because it was driven by like minded
people who love to use their Leica's!

This will become one of those icon books illustrating the world over all is
truly a marvelous place.

Best part? 

It was shot by everyday folks with a like minded love of photography using a
Leica camera!

Now if the Leica promotion people would wake up to the fact the LUG crew
have just handed Leica the finest international advertising promotion
they've ever had at a time when Leica requires all the help they can to
survive and prosper, it would be wonderful! Who knows?
