Across the street from my back yard is a large oak tree that was hit by
lightning several years ago. The top branches are dead and are a favorite
lookout spot for songbirds and doves and an occasional hawk. Last evening,
just before sundown, I spotted some new visitors in the neighborhood. They
seemed to have all views covered, looking for an evening meal.

While in my neighbors yard to get a better view of the visitors, I noticed
that his "strange" fruit tree is setting fruit.
