I have no examples to show, because my subjects typically do not stand
still for A/B comparisons.  However on reviewing the photos I've made with
and without a protective filter I noticed that despite the large number of
uncontrolled variables the trend has been that the photos made without are
typically more colorful and less likely to be degraded by flare.
