Many of them said that they thought the overall quality of the entries this month was extremely high. There are 10 judges. 6 of the 10 are members of the LUG; the other 4 are not. About half of them are professional photographers. All of them are people whose work I admire. The judges live in Europe, North America, South America, Central Asia, East Asia, and AUSNZ. I have never revealed to anyone, even the judges themselves, who the judges are. The only person who can see individual ratings from the judges is me, and even I can't tell which scores come from which judge. The judges cannot find out how other judges have rated an image, or who the other judges are.
