Posted a few M8 images on the lug recently. Used polarizer on the 21, 35 and
50. Images wouldn't have worked without it, for me.
And ND filters to slow things down. Even at 50 ISO, sometimes you need to
slow things down a bit...
I use a polarizer almost always for landscapes unless it has no impact...
Is there software that can replace a polarizer? I've looked at NIKs attempt
and it's not close IMO.
Is there a way via software introduce a slower shutter speed? Love to hear
of one.
So no polarizer on the 14-24? No ND on the 14-24? This doesn't work for me.
More options is more better...
Granted this is only my opinion fitting how I shoot. Not what the M was
truly designed for (fast hand held shooting; definitive moment acquisition),
but what I enjoy using it for a lot (slow, composed landscapes, one good
shot an outing if I am VERY lucky).
Pretty much what I do (did) with film...

Last time I used a filter on a DSLR was never.
