It's an Armenian immigrant family that we've become friendly with. First birthdays are a major event in their culture, so there were aunts and uncles and cousins and other relatives from all over, plus people the family knows from the Russian-speaking community here. Quite a collection of interesting people, and there was a lot of amazing food and toasts.
