sensor version in 12 months ;-) Wishing doesn't count. Do a poll on everyone
on the list who has an M8 and see if they regret buying it due to the 'crop
factor'.
Just take opinions from people that own and use them.
There is an expectation of something else big from Leica to be announced
within 24hrs at a media conference. No way it will have M on it. Want to bet
beer on it??
I think that Ric's question was M8 or M8.2!
That's just a dollars decision and how long you want to wait.
New or used is harder but that's an individual assessment. Right now you can
get a new M8 and be making great photographs with it while you are waiting
for any possible future technology. Buy some more new lenses too, keep our
company around to build those future dreams too.

Ric, wait. I am (who has just processed film from from two weeks ago, and
finally posted images from July a week ago). Hold out anther year for FF.
Right now my money's going to the CV Ultron 28/2. I like the 28/1.9 a lot;
but it flares (about the same as the Elmarit 28 3rd version, which I tried
for 1200 frames before going back). If the new one has better coatings, as
it seems to, it may be THE 28.
