Hola Luis

I had a bad experience with Malcolom Taylor with my Leica II and
Hektor 50/2.5 - would not recommend him

Sincerely / Joseph Low

Hi Vick,

I had a Rigid Summicron with the same things as yours, longtime ago
I've sold it and I always regrett. Last June I've purchased a "new"
one in really Mint condition.

The deffective old one had a rare and special beauty, only with
backlight was bad, on other cases it gaves me a smoothnes never
founded again.

I think the Rigid Summicron is one of the best Leica lenses, same
optical formula as the "DR"; my advice, if you don't like the eventual
haze or flare it can be cleaned and re-coated (by Malcolm Taylor in
U.K.), I've do this with my Summitar and now is one of my favorites
too. I'm sure that you will not regret the moey you expend repairing it.

If you need further examples or address, don't hesitate to contact me

Saludos cordiales
Lluis
