well, even that 49 cents
ain't worth much any more

; ~ )

I was just sharing
with a young pup
yesterday
way back when
I was 16 years old
a regular malted milk
cost 25 cents
extra thick (which meant essentially a quart of custard with malt
powder in it)
cost 40 cents

had you said an opinion
was worth
an extra thick malted milk
from "Town Pride"
on 62nd and Villard Avenue
in 1962
well that
would have been something

; ~ )

Fond regards,
George
(who can't afford extra thick anymore)
