I just spent some time comparing the G10 with a friend's G9.
The one thing that was immediately obvious was the improved color  
balance of the G10.
Also, the speed of the camera is quirkily connected to the viewing  
time of the rear screen, and one's finger lingering on the shutter  
button. As I take single shots, I find myself having to  
conscientiously speed up my own actions to make the camera work  
faster. Tomorrow I'll try to see if having the camera set on multiple  
shots is any faster, without sacrificing focusing and IS.
On the other hand, I shot part of an assignment with it on Saturday.  
I've sent the material for delivery tomorrow. I'll soon see what kind  
of reaction the camera's images get.
