I believe LR2 has raised the size it can handle and this should not be a
problem.
I'll check tonight...

Too Late... it is in the mail already!

The approach may be different than the average user....

Scan in NikonScan and save to disc.
After scanning a LOT of rolls, open LR2 and bring all the files in.
After that, then open LR2 and select / throw away the images I have no use
for.? Cull #1.

As a separate operation, open the saved images and cull to the best.? Cull
#2 or 3.
Close LR2
Open NikonScan and scan desired, selected images at higher scan definition.
Save Images.? Close NikonScan.
Open LR2 and prepare images for printing.
Those files get the full workup, not the original saved files.

No worry on the MF issue.... my Coolscan will only handle 35mm film...
IOW, I have yet to figure out a solution to the MF film scanning.

Hi Frank,
beware of LR2 for scans, it is designed for digital camera files, most?
of my MF scans are too big. It has some file type limitations too. I?
still use photoshop for scans.
Frank
