Len,

Looks like I won't be able to find any until after the autumn leaves
have fallen. I know it would be perfect for the mountain foliage this
time of year.

I'll try Plan B this weekend, which means using a Rolleiflex with Portra
160VC, which I have in 120. I have a handlebar back on my MTB that can
house a Rolleiflex or an M6 with a couple of lenses. With Plan B I'll
miss not having the 28/2.8 M which is the ultimate lens for landscapes.

The Creeper trail is pretty tame. You can even take a shuttle from the
base to the top and it's all downhill. I prefer to ride up and down.
It's an old railroad bed so the grade isn't bad. All in all it's a
relaxing, fun ride.

I considered Plan C digital but I like film. I'm lazy. I can just drop
film off at Walmart on the way to work and pick up prints and a CD on
the way home. I like having prints and scans that are ready to go, and
having negs.

The Walmart lab does fantastic work. It's staffed by students from a
state school for the hearing impaired and they are very much on top of
things. A lot of people must still be shooting film because they're
always very busy. Hopefully I'll find some Ektar soon. I'm anxious to
try it.

Hi David,

I saw the tech sheet yesterday as well. It sounds like a great film.
I don't know where you'd find it though. Freestyle and B&H don't have
it.
