Works well - see a shot off a test roll I did here http://www.flickr.com/photos/50543475@N00/2513668946/ The flash shoe is a detachable accessory which fits over the viewfinder eyepiece and that is slightly damaged. It still retains the shoe but I could see that it might be damaged easily so could be a common fault. Can't say for definite as this is the only Pen F I've ever seen.
