Oops. I just discovered something. On the FT lenses you can pull  
forward the f stop ring and rotate it so the conventional stop  
markings are on the top side and the 0 to 6 markings are on the  
bottom. This makes more sense so the newer FT lenses are compatible  
to the F bodies. Since i use the internal meter I never paid much  
attention and just memorized what number corresponded to what f stop.
