Some bushes I saw were even redder; the reddest I ever remember seeing, but they were not near a place to pull over. I was driving around with Kathryn, and didn't want to make her wait while I took pictures, so I just got out where I could get a photo close to the car. (I shot the road picture through the windshield while driving; the only parking area is a quarter mile away.) I'll have to go back on my bike; I can stop without blocking traffic.
