a fellow LUGger replied off-list,
"I can tell you from monitoring the media in Spain and (during this  
week's trip) Denmark and the Netherlands, that the amount of positive  
feelings it has created towards the US abroad is enormous."

We seem to be in a moment, however brief or fragile, of great  
opportunity.
