Subject: [Leica] For Rollei fans: good and bad news - correction

Alastair,

Rollei is alive and kicking
with a staff of almost 130 in
Braunschweig.

They are now operating under
the name of Franke&Heidecke again

http://www.franke-heidecke.net/

The consumer and professional
divisions of Rollei separated
into two
inedpendent companies - the
consumer division being almost
entirely a
marketing company. The pro
division of Rollei
Fototechnik, broke away in
2006 under new management and
became Franke & Heidecke.

Cheers
Douglas
