Subject: [Leica] new Leica M lens on its way

Its a 24 which with the look and weight of a 35 ASPH Summicron or Summilux
is how I see it.
And the first of the new M glass which I'd get.
It would be in my camera, an M8 if I had one all the time; if I had one.

I hate the thought of dragging around my 24 2.8 on that body all the time
Its a lot more weight and bulk than I feel comfortable having with me all
day. Twice the size of the Elmar.... Woof!
But the new one is perfect.
Wish it was an f4!
3.8? Never heard of it!?!?!

I'd have not sold an old lens first to get it.
I'd test both against each other first. On the same tree. Or rock.

$2,395.00 at Adorable Adorama.

If they had it.

But you can think about buying it.
And you'd be the only American buying anything
>From anybody.
