The print has quite an impact these days.  Whenever I take a photo of
someone, or their property, I offer to send a print, usually 6x9" image size
or so.  Many take me up on it, and I almost always get a thank-you note or
email.  When I was doing LF, I would always give a Polaroid proof print. It
removed barriers.  Many people do not have a decent photo.  The other day, a
parishioner died suddenly and the family was upset because there was no
known photo of him...except for one I had taken a few months before.  I made
a large print for the funeral.  If the parents of this young lady have any
sense, they will have it properly framed as an heirloom piece.  And there is
another issue.  I include a little note as to proper archival framing for a
photograph.
