just don't get this "possibility of catastrophic failure"
death will come to all and everything
I've had strobes, shutters, meters, et al go out on the job
I've had people smash into my car
flat tires, dead batteries
I've had hard drives fail
computers fail
printers and scanners fail
audio gear go down
drill bits and saw blades break
parts break during assembly (just last night)

one has to proceed
push the tools to the limit
and when they fail
make sure you have a back up

Fond regards,
George
