I've been practising Ted's strategy successfully since years, but now I had
a special challenge: new camera - not Leica but a DSLR with zoom lens! I
knew SWMBO might ask displeasing questions when she discovers that. So I
kept it in the bag and waited for a good moment. And that moment came quite
soon, when she informed me that she has decided to rent another e-piano,
which costs 3x more than the previous one, and also bought a new carbon case
for our daughter's cello, for a price one could easily buy a used Summilux
for. Bed she did almost not notice my new camera which I incidentally had in
my hands! :-D
