Subject: [Leica] IMG: 747, Make it happen

I'm reading about Magnum at the moment: Henri found china the hardest place
to photograph he had ever worked. Firstly as a tall white man, he was not
"invisible" secondly the chinese felt it was the height of rudeness to
"pop-up" unexpectedly and snap an image and he seems to have been hounded by
strap cutting razors and pickpockets. All 1950 of course.

Cheers

Yes, I'm trying to use LR and several other programs that claim to
remove CA. I have never been able to use any of the Adobe products
to remove CA. The sliders go from Red to Green without ever being
neutral!! So far, all I can do is use Gaussian Blur at a very high
rate, Edit, Fade Gaussian Blur (Color) and then use the History Brush
to brush out the red, green, purple and yellow edges. :-( It takes
far too much time and I have far too many photos to correct them all.

I agree, I need to go back with my M8s ;-) I loved China, anyway.
