Hi Geoff,

Santa Monica is nice. I've spent there a day a few moths ago when down 
town LA was too hot. Lots of opportunities for pictures on the beach and 
the pier,
Samy's foto store can be reached by bus and is around the corner of 
LACMA which now features the nice vanity fair exhibition.
