3 mm doesn't feel like "much thicker" in my hands.
The M8 is, overall, smaller and lighter
than my M6TTL with new motor;
which was my main camera - pre-digital.
Differences exist - but the "feel"
is as close as one could hope for.
Still makes for the smallest
high quality kit available.
