I can't stress too much the value of even a little bit of mobility when you 
have an active subject: shifting a bit to the left or right to change 
backgrounds or to keep the same background as the subject moves, or 
whatever... being able to try a slightly different POV and composition on 
the fly...

It's not just the image quality the S2 is expected to deliver that will 
appeal to studio & location photographers, it's the mobility and quick 
handling like a 35mm camera combined with the image quality their clients 
expect.
