I felt the same way, but it's not something I though I had much control
over until I started using the 400mm f/6.8 Telyt.  The difference in
highlight & shadow detail jumped out at me right away.

Likewise WOW from me!  Consciously or otherwise I compare every long lens
to this gem and nothing else measures up.

Have you made any photos with the APO lenses and DMR yet?  A GREAT
combination IMHO.  I'd also like to try the Leicaflex motor on my SL MOT.
