Subject: [Leica] Happy New Year 2009

G'day Ted,

Well we are now into the new year, and it doesn't look so bad: your mail is
a great start to it indeed. How bad can it be when we have friends, images
to make and time to talk about it and if our health holds up "all is well".

I don't think we have seen the worst of the financial muck up that the
system has laid upon us, but it is only one part of the "big picture" and
given the troubles that it will cause we should move forward and enjoy: as a
friend of mine used to say in reply to "how's life" ---- "Well its better
than the alternative".

Happy new year to everyone here on the LUG. There are a lot good projects
images and friendships to be made in this crazy "verbose" group.

Cheers and here's luck

Alastair and Helen

"HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! MAY IT BE ONE OF THOSE BEST EVER YEARS!"

For those who are already in the New Year, "How does it look?" :-)

We on this side of the planet have close to half a day before we arrive
kicking and screaming, maybe somewhat under the "influence" of whatever
liquid one is enjoying. At home of course! :-)

If by chance the New Year doesn't look like it'll be better, I refuse to go!
:-) Now figure that one out! :-)

However, being a sort of optimist think positive kind a guy, I figure no
matter how good or bad the New Year may look? It still comes down to you the
person, can make it what you want, afford, enjoy and feel good about.

However, if you see only misery, you'll have it in basket loads !!

Best bet once again! Think positive, be young of heart and spirit! Keep
dreaming nice things and never let the dumb asses win!

Don't sweat wasting time on what you can't control! Enjoy and work at making
your and your families lives better in whatever manner you can. Or as little
as that maybe!

And if the Great Spirit should see that you win the LOTTERY! Man enjoy it
to the fullest! :-)

The best of a New Year to all.

Cheers,

ted
