Subject: [Leica] 24mm - too close to 28mm?

I have a Leica 24mm f2.8 Elmarit M Asph
and I have a 25mm CV f4 Color Scopar.

Are they too close together?

I keep them in separate rooms!

I like the Scopar which has a very special "Guess to matic" focusing feature
which makes the pictures come out better.
Less fiddling
More seeing.
And has collector value as its no longer made because of that.

It also is one third the size of the Elmarit which makes the pictures come
out better. Because the Elmarit is at home.

Its also one third the weight which makes the pictures come out better.
Because the Elmarit is at home.

And it fits on both my Barnacks as well as my M's.

I think its really not a lens its something else.
