Stan,

Yes there is. You don't need to cycle the camera off/on.

Press the menu button and select Lens Detection ON+UV/IR.
The WATE menu then comes up after you choose Set to the ON+UV/IR.
Then you can choose the FL.

You can do this as many times as you want to change the FL.
