Yes, the tiny little rubber foot is very, very soft.  Blow off any 
dirt first and use the foot directly on the sensor to brush off any 
stubborn spots.  Then blow again.

Mine came in a whole zippered kit with a blower and extra feet.  The 
brush retracts to keep it clean.
