Of the handful of Gitzo tripod's I've acquired the one I got later for my
4x5 Cambo sheetfilm camera by far the biggest and heaviest was the one I
used the most for ALL shooting in the studio with whatever camera often my
M6's but also Hassy's and Nikons.

EYE LEVEL steady as a rock.
That's a long way up for a medium build tripod.

A tripods biggest advantage is weight.
Also its biggest dis advantage if you are out standing alone in the field in
the middle of the Adirondacks.

With no Adirondack chair.
