Subject: [Leica] Leica R lenses on Nikon bodies with the Leitax bayonet

Howard,

I'll test it but I'm pretty sure Live View stays the same brightness
regardless of aperture. Since there's no aperture linkage linkage at all
(not even aperture ring linkage) I'm sure the camera just assumes the
lens is wide open, but a slower lens if it's stopped down.

David,
If you shoot in Live View and stop down does the monitor of the D700
brighten up? I know you can increase its brightness manually. Still
waiting for my bayonets, Cheers Howard
