Subject: [Leica] Nathan's PAD 24/01/2009: stormy weather

A storm with winds up to 170 km/h passed through Spain today. Here in
Alicante, it only reached 110 km/h but that was enough to do serious
damage, including some minor damage to our house. There are downed
trees all over the place. In the morning, I went for a walk near the
beach. At that time, the main problem were roads blocked by
tumbleweeds. It got worse later in the day.

The funny thing is that despite the bad weather, it was blue sky and
sunshine, and quite warm. I spent most of the day wearing a short-
sleeved shirt.
