I don't know, to me buying Leica (or any other brand) is about  
investing in my job (and fortunately for me, in my hobby). It's  
calculated over 3 to 5 years and is supposed to a) bring more money,  
b) make my job easier

Leica gives me tools for my job. I doubt that the comparison with the  
Ferrari applies. Maybe as a hobby, but even then Leica is small change  
compared to a Ferrari...
