Lluis,
I think you should have the chrome model. I have a black M8 and I
think that the silver chrome model probably wears better. Perhaps
you are not as hard on your cameras as I am. It will not brass. I
have had no screen problems. I love the camera, but think that for
you the chrome is best. the only complaints I have, relate to the
on-off switch and the fact that in my hands, the M8 does not like
cold weather. I guess one has to keep checking the switch and
carry an extra battery in a warm place.
