I do have some pretty good SS equipment which I use frequently for rock and 
roll and movies.
 
As to whether tube processed music like jazz, classical, blues, vocal and 
instrumental sound better on my tube amp to me?
 
Yes they subjectively do. Do a different set/brand of tubes sound 
differently? Yes, to me. Perhaps its the slight distortion?
 
It's kind of like using a film Leica rangefinder or Rolleiflex camera to 
shoot b&w. Either you get it or you shoot a digital Canon, Nikon, (insert 
favourite camera and lens brand here).
