Subject: [Leica] IMG: Equivalence experienced

Everything is going to be digital, so rabbit ears don't work, besides, I'm
sixty miles to the closest station.   Since I use satellite I only have a
monitor hooked to the dish box.

I do have a weather radio, but the broadcasts are generally for the whole
parish, and I think it is about 60 miles long!   I like to see the radar for
myself, I worked as a show producer in TV, and got pretty good at
understanding my danger, if I can see a scope.

I'll make sure from now on that EVERYTHING is on a surge protector.  I found
out that my DSL modem and my DVD player are fried.
