Are you using the last pre-asph 28mm Elmarit the hood is 12547 and  
the hood cap is 14013.

You should be able to find one but it's pricey, about $50 new but  
Amazon.com has it for $29.95 . It's the same cap used on the 35mm  
f1.4 R lens.
