Are any of you folks who use the R-D1 experiencing excessive, if not
alarming strap lug wear and deformation? The soft brass lugs on my R-D1
are wearing through a bit too rapidly if you ask me. Part of the
problem is the triangular split rings cause some deformation at the
outset then the lugs wear down inside that much more quickly.
Have any LUGers noticed this problem?
