Subject: [Leica] 4 best and worst M lenses

My least favorite lens is a 90 Tele Elmarit which I got as a second lens
used and was a Lemon. Could not get any contrast out of it. It set me back a
bit.
So I sold it at a swap meet.
Got the current Elmarit.
Worked dazzlingly.

My favorite Leica lens is the one I most often have on my M6's the 40
Summicron C. I never use my 35 ASPH any more its too big and heavy and I
don't need its ultra sharpness. Nor have I used my 50 Summicron with the
hood which comes off.

My last several Leica shootings were all done with my IIIF and the lens was
a 35 Summaron.

But a persons favorite lens is most often their most recent.
In my case a 90 Elmar for the IIIF.
Very exciting to use and I got great results with it.
Working with this lens and camera makes for quite a low key way to achieve
grabbing power as I think of it.
