It's as much publicity, context and 'being there' (if not more) as it is
photographic craft that gets someone the label of "top professional
photographer".  There are many outstanding photographers who suck at
publicity so they're never known as a top photographer, professional or
otherwise.

I'll bet that in the context of Natcheway's line of work the content of the
picture also matters more than technical quality.  If I wanted to emulate
his work the content and context of his work are the first things I'd look
at, not the brand or format of the camera he's using.

I know what kind of image quality I want.  It doesn't necessarily come from
a camera that's commonly used in a war zone.  It comes from a camera that
meets my needs, not Natcheway's.
