There are two kinds of Extreme III's. The fast one is marked 30Mb/sec 
on the package.

As in my previous post that you quoted:

"There are two Sandisk Extreme III cards. One slower, one faster. The 
Transcend cards are faster than the slower, slower than the faster 
Sandisk and a lot less expensive than either.

Fastest are the 2Gb 30Mb/sec Sandisk cards. Smaller cards are faster."
