Subject: [Leica] M6 and MP differences?

the dial on the MP is the "classic" M3 style in terms of size and
direction.  the MP also has the M3 dimensions which means the top
deck of an MP is a couple of millimeters shorter than a TTL/M7/M8.
this means you can use a viso II on MP but not on the TTL/M7/M8.

the MP is closest in terms of these facets to the M6 classic.
the M6 classic is a fine camera, i especially like the M6 classic 0.85
high magnification viewfinder, which unfortunately they made only
about 5000.
