Steve,

A carousel would be 100-140 slides. This would equate up to 700 to 840
slides per day. I am scanning with a Coolscan 5000, which has the 4.8 Dmax.
I can scan with either Vuescan or Nikon Scan (I prefer Nikon Scan, however).
A trial sounds like a great idea!
