I took his workshop in Maine several years ago - only workshop I've ever
taken. I agree with you on all points - including the neked part. :-)

I found the week invaluable because although I did a pretty awful job with
the assignments, whatever he did he pushed me to figure out who and what I
am as a photographer. And that was worth the price of admission.

As to the books - have them all except the latest, color book, which I will
get because even though I am a BW guy, I've seen it and it's amazing work. I
even have a first edition of Few Comforts or Surprises, his first, very hard
to find book. Got it in that great photo bookstore in Rockport. :-)
